John Hasson (left), and Paul Neslusan (right),
address the delegation.

John Hasson (New England Region AFA President) and Paul Neslusan (Massachusetts State AFA President) addressed key concerns about Air Force programs outside of the realm of aviation.

Mr. Hasson addressed a critical concern with gaining systems at the speed of need, and the criticality of getting inside the opposition's "decision making loop".  Mr. Neslusan weighed in on both the importance of looking hard at processes for effiiciencies in both acquisitions and cyber initiatives.

What Do We Owe the Public? PDF Print E-mail

AFA Members and unaffiliated citizens, we want to serve you better.

The Air Force Association:

1.  Educates the public about the critical role of aerospace power in the defense of our nation

2.  Advocates aerospace power and a strong national defense

3.  Supports the United States Air Force, the Air Force family, and aerospace education

...That being said, what do we owe the public?  What would the average non-affiliated citizen want from us?  What can we give to our local communities?  What can we bring forward to help our communities--not "what do we want to bring", but "what would our communities appreciate"?

I have a simple request, for all AFA members, and even for non-AFA members.  Please, ask someone outside of the core AFA audience today, what it is that we could do to capture their interest.  What can we do, in the context of our mission, to make the average person at the grocery store sit up and take notice?  All I ask is that you query a single person, and post it in the comments.
